Three people were killed in two plane crashes in Britain today.
Two men, the pilot and his passenger, died at the scene when their microlight aircraft crashed into trees at Lower Hartnell, Ludlow, south Shropshire, a Shrewsbury police spokesman said.
In a separate incident, a man died when his glider ploughed into a field near the A14 in Northamptonshire.
Earlier today, two adults and two children were rescued from a burning Cessna 182 which caught fire soon after landing at Newquay Airport, Cornwall police said.

The adults were taken to hospital but their condition was not known, a police spokesman said.
All three accidents will beinvestigated by Britain's air accident authorities.
