Three Leicester City football players have been remanded in custody by an investigating judge in Spain following an alleged assault on three women in a Spanish hotel.
Scottish international Paul Dickov, 31, Northern Ireland international Keith Gillespie, 29, and Jamaican international Frank Sinclair, 32, were all expected to remain behind bars tonight accused of sexual aggression following an alleged incident on a training exercise in La Manga.
Six players were detained overnight after allegedly being involved in a sexual assault on three women at the exclusive La Manga resort in south-east Spain.
Nine were originally held over the alleged attack. Stefan Freund was released earlier yesterday and another two - reserve goalkeeper Danny Coyne and centre half Nikos Dabizas - were released late last night.
The players had spent the previous night in police cells after being arrested for their alleged role in a drunken raid on a room in the Hyatt hotel in which the women said they were attacked.
The players have protested their innocence.
