The death has occurred in Dublin of Mr Tim Dennehy, founder and former chairman of Dennehy Associates public relations consultancy. Aged 79, he died yesterday after a long illness.
From Tralee, Co Kerry, Mr Dennehy was a member of the editorial staff of the Kerryman, RTE, Independent Newspapers and the Irish Press. In 1959, he joined CIE as head of publicity and public relations. He founded his public relations consultancy in 1970. He was elected a fellow of the Public Relations Institute.
