Gardaí have named the man killed in a road collision in Tipperary last night as 23-year-old John Paul O'Connor from Glengorman, Hollyford. He died after his motorcycle went out of control and struck a wall.
The incident happened at around 11.30 in Knockavilla in the village of Dundrum in County Tipperary.
Meanwhile the 35-year-old motorcyclist who died yesterday following a collision with a van on the main Dublin to Waterford road was today named as Paul Sullivan from Cherrymount in Waterford. The incident happened at around 6.00 near Kilmacow in Kilkenny.
