Sam Torrance is unlikely to stay on as Ryder Cup captain despite guiding Europe to a 15½-12½ victory over the United States at the Belfry yesterday.
"I really don't think I will do it, to be honest," said Torrance, who becomes eligible for Seniors golf next August.
"A few of the players asked me last night - but they were drunk! This is not the time to decide. I'm not saying 'no' yet, but I think it's somebody else's turn.
"You only get three or four years on the Seniors Tour to play your best".

Nick Faldo and Bernhard Langer are contenders to lead the European team in the 2004 Ryder Cup at Oakland Hills in Michigan.
Faldo has already declared his interest; Langer is to decide in the next few months whether to make himself a contender.
