Three American soldiers were killed in two separate incidents in Iraq, the military said today.
Two soldiers from the military police were killed in Baghdad yesterday when their vehicle was blasted by a roadside bomb. A third was wounded.
A marine also died of wounds yesterday following combat in Anbar province, where Sunni rebels are fighting in the west. The deaths brought the total of US troops killed in Iraq to 2,842.
Twenty-four were killed in the first nine days of November. In October, 105 were killed, the deadliest month in nearly two years.
