Large crowds are expected at GAA fixtures, and are likely to cause some traffic congestion around Thurles, Co Tipperary, this weekend.
Sunday's hurling league finals double-header is due to kick-off at 2pm when Wicklow play Laois in the division two final. That match is followed at 3pm by the division one final Kilkenny vs Waterford.
The football division two final is at Breffni Park, Cavan, also on Sunday, when Meath take on Roscommon.
The five-day Punchestown festival concludes tomorrow which will cause traffic delays around Co Kildare. The first race is off at 1.55pm and the last race is at 5.40pm.
More localised traffic delays are expected on Sunday due to racing at Gowran Park, Co Kilkenny and Navan.
In the Magners League, Munster meet The Dragons at Musgrave Park, Cork on Sunday at 5pm.
From early next week, roadworks on the outskirts of Dublin could cause delays for commuters.
Stage two of changes to the traffic layout at the N7/Red Cow roundabout will be in place from Tuesday May 1st at 6am and drivers approaching from all directions are advised to slow down and be prepared for localised delays.
Essential road works are being carried out on site within the Dublin airport internal road network from Monday April 30th.
The road works are taking place on Corballis Road South and will necessitate some lane closures. Corballis Road South connects with the R132, which is also known as the Old Airport Road, the Dublin Airport Authority said. The work will continue until May 18th.
