The Kilkenny girl who received a heart and lungs transplant at Harefield Hospital in Middlesex has amazed doctors by the rate of her recovery.
Emma Minogue (12) from Freshford was taken from the operating theatre only in the early hours of Monday, and the following night she spoke to her parents.

Emma surprised her parents, Mr Liam Minogue and his wife Mary, when she opened her eyes and said: "I can't believe it is all over".
