Jakarta - The youngest son of disgraced former Indonesian President Suharto was banned yesterday from travelling outside the capital, a spokesman for the attorney-general's office said.
Tommy, a prominent business figure while his father was in power, was questioned in November in connection with alleged graft involving his wholesale chain Goro. A ban on him leaving Indonesia was issued at that time. The allegations involve a land lease from the government worth 52.20 billion rupiah ($5.8 million).
