Brussels - The theft and fraud trial of Belgian child-sex murder suspect Mr Marc Dutroux, scheduled for January 27th, has been delayed at his lawyers' request.
The trial in Charleroi, near Brussels, would have been Mr Dutroux's first since his arrest in August 1996 in connection with the kidnapping, sequestering and sexual abuse of six girls, four of whom were later found dead.
"We now hope that the trial is going to take place in May," Mr Eric Labar, a government prosecutor, said.
