The Ulster Unionist Party leader, Mr David Trimble, will attend a meeting with the Catholic Primate, Archbishop Sean Brady, at Armagh on Monday.
It is the latest in a round of consultations which the UUP is having with a wide range of individuals, churches and groups throughout the north.
The meeting, to be held at the Archbishop's residence at Ara Coeli in Armagh, will also be attended by several senior bishops and lay people as well as senior Ulster Unionists.
