Truck driver dies in hospital after Limerick crash

A truck driver died overnight from injuries he received in a crash yesterday afternoon.

A truck driver died overnight from injuries he received in a crash yesterday afternoon.

The crash between two trucks happened at 1.45pm on the N24 at Boher, Caherconlish, Co Limerick.

One of the drivers was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where he later died, according to the Garda Press Office. He was a man in his 50s from Co Cork.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Roxboro Road Garda Station in Limerick.
