At least 12 people were killed in a bus crash in eastern Turkey today.
The governor of Erzurum said the bus swerved off the road to avoid a car.
"The bus careered off a steep slope at the edge of the road and overturned, killing eight people instantly," said Mr Derya Kadioglu.
He said four more people died in a nearby hospital where they were taken for treatment, while another eight crash victims are in a critical condition.
