RTE television's Our House architect, Mr Duncan Stewart, has agreed to pay an undisclosed amount of damages to a cyclist injured in a collision with his car in Dublin.
The claim, for up to £30,000 damages, was brought in the Circuit Civil Court by 48-yearold Dublin Corporation legal clerk, Mr Thomas Hanrahan, of Curlew Road, Drimnagh, Dublin. Mr Stewart, of Oaklands Park, Ballsbridge, Dublin, appeared in court but when the action was called Judge Esmonde Smyth was told by Mr Hanrahan's counsel, Mr Terry O'Sullivan, that the case had been settled and could be struck out.
