Two Belfast youths remanded on riot charges

Two 18-year-old youths have appeared at Belfast Magistrates' Court charged with riotous behaviour.

Two 18-year-old youths have appeared at Belfast Magistrates' Court charged with riotous behaviour.

The first boy was charged with three counts of rioting and remanded in custody.

He was also charged with using bricks and stones as offensive weapons during rioting in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast earlier this month.

A second 18-year-old was also charged with riotous behaviour and remanded in custody.
