The bodies of two people were discovered in a house in Blackrock, Co Dublin, yesterday afternoon. Gardai are investigating the "circumstances surrounding the deaths," according to a spokesman.
The bodies, of a male and a female, are believed to be in their forties or fifties. They were taken to Loughlinstown Hospital, where a post mortem will take place today.
It is believed there were no obvious signs of foul play, but gardai were unwilling to speculate as to the cause of death.
