Two Britons are among the 83 confirmed deaths in the bombings of the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheik overnight while two others are fighting for their lives.
Eight Britons are so far believed to have been injured in the blasts, all of them hurt in the Ghazala Garden hotel bombing.
The deaths were confirmed by Dr Saeed Abdel Fattah, manager of the Sharm el-Sheik International Hospital while a British Embassy spokeswoman said a 14-year-old girl and a 30-year-old man, are critically injured and have been taken by helicopter to the Maadi military hospital in Cairo.
The 20-year-old sister of the critically-injured girl was among three being treated in Sharm El Sheikh hospital for cuts and bruises. Their mother remained at her bedside as she was unable to board the army flight to the Egyptian capital.
The critically-injured man had been on holiday with his girlfriend.
Another British man was given first aid before leaving the area on a flight to Cairo. Fears were growing for the two Britons who were missing, one of whom was in his 20s, the spokeswoman said.
"No-one has reported seeing them. We don't know whether they were among the 34 unidentified," she said.
