Members of the extended Roma family who were deported last July after camping on a roundabout on the Ballymun intersection of the M50 have returned to Ireland, Travellers' organisation Pavee Point has confirmed.
About 100 Roma people, members of the extended Rostas family, were repatriated to Romania when it was discovered that they had no work permits.
Pavee Point director Ronnie Fay said that two members of the family had been spotted in the O'Connell Street area of Dublin within the last two weeks.
She said they had not made contact with Pavee Point.
The two adults, an older woman and a young man, are understood not to speak English, and it is not known whether they have returned to Ireland alone or with other family members.
