Two firms to create 54 jobs in Sligo

Up to 54 jobs will be created in Sligo with the expansion of two companies in Tubbercurry .

Plastics company 2R Kunststofftechnik will create 24 jobs over five years, resulting in the doubling of employment to 48 people.

Reed Executive, a British recruitment company, is expanding its administration centre to add 30 jobs over three years.

2R Kunststofftechnik, is a family owned company and includes BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen among its customers.

Reed was set up in Ireland in 1997 and has a number of specialist recruitment divisions in Dublin and Cork, in addition to the Tubbercurry Centre; it  employs 30 in Ireland.
