Two men with underlying health conditions have died from H1N1 swine flu, the Health Service Executive has said.
This brings the number of deaths in the State from the virus to 20. The men were from the south and east of the country.
At least 300,000 doses of the swine flu vaccine have been administered to date, but no serious safety issues have yet been identified, according to the Irish Medicines Board (IMB).
There have been 483 reports of adverse reactions to the vaccine received by the Irish Medicines Board, but they are consistent with expected patterns and were generally non-serious.
