Two teenagers were tonight arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident in which an 11-year-old girl was critically injured.
They were being questioned by police, who seized a motorised scooter believed to have been involved in the accident.
The schoolgirl was stuck by a motorcycle in Lisburn, Co Antrim when the crash happened.
Witnesses said the rider then fled in the direction of Longstone Street.
