Two men have been arrested after a man and a woman were assaulted in Ballymena, Co Antrim, early on New Year’s Day.
The 46-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were victims of the serious assault on Ballymoney Street shortly before 2.50am. They were taken to a nearby hospital afterwards, where they remain.
Their injuries are not believed to be life- threatening.
Two men aged 30 and 25, have been arrested.
