British detectives investigating the murder of solicitor Ms Rosemary Nelson yesterday arrested two men. This brought to three the number of men in custody last night in connection with Ms Nelson's death after detectives obtained a court ruling allowing them to extend the period of detention of a 32-year-old man arrested in Plymouth on Tuesday.
The arrests were announced by Norfolk police, whose deputy chief constable, Mr Colin Port, has been leading the inquiry into Ms Nelson's killing on March 15th, 1999. The two men arrested yesterday, aged 33 and 28, were taken to Gough Barracks Detention Centre, the statement said.
