Two men were being questioned by gardaí tonight over raid on a bank in Co Offaly last year.
The armed raiders are believed to have burrowed their way into AIB in Edenderry on September 26th from a derelict building and made off with thousands of euro in cash.
Gardaí said the pair, aged in their mid 40s, were arrested this morning in Edenderry at around 2am.
They are being held at Tullamore Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
