A man (19) has been taken to hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs following a shooting incident in the Dundonald area of Belfast. The attack happened at Dornock Park and was reported shortly after 8 p.m.

In Newtownabbey, a man in his twenties was attacked by a number of men with baseball bats studded with nails on waste ground behind Ballyronan Park last night.

He was taken to hospital with injuries to his upper arms.
