Two men charged over Dublin assault

Two men have been charged in connection with a serious assault on a teenager in Dublin city centre yesterday morning.

Two men have been charged in connection with a serious assault on a teenager in Dublin city centre yesterday morning.

Both men aged 29 are to appear before Dublin District Court tomorrow morning.

The 17-year-old remains in a critical condition in Beaumont hospital after he was injured in a fight on Middle Abbey Street at about 2.30am.

The men were arrested yesterday and were held at Store Street Garda Station.

Meanwhile a man in his 40's is in a stable condition in hospital after he was discovered with serious head injuries in Dublin city centre yesterday morning.

The man was found lying on the road at the junction of Nassau Street and Grafton Street at around 2.00am.

The man is originally from Scotland but living in the Clonskeagh area of Dublin.
