Two men have been appeared in court in Tallaght charged with the murder of Joan Casey the grandmother who was shot at her home earlier this month.
The two, Mr Conor Grogan of St Dominic's Terrace and Mr Timothy Rattigan of Avonbeg Park in Tallaght were granted free legal aid and remanded in custody for a week. The men are in their 20s and are unemployed.
There were some scuffles between members of the accused men's families and the media outside the courthouse.
Three other people, two men and a woman, have been released and a file has been sent to the DPP.
