Two men arrested in connection with the murder of Baiba Saulite have been freed without charge.
They two men were detained on Monday in Allenwood, Co Kildare and Coolock. Dublin
The men, who are in their early 40s, were arrested on suspicion of withholding information in relation to the killing. Both were freed without charge last night.
Gardaí investigating the murder of the Latvian mother-of-two in November 2006 have issued a fresh appeal for information.
Detectives believe Ms Saulite (28) was murdered by a man known to her. The chief suspect is involved in organised crime, and detectives believe he paid other criminals to kill her.
She was shot dead in the hallway of her home in Holywell Square, Feltrim Road, Swords, on Sunday, November 19th, 2006.
Her two young sons - Ali-Alexsandra (5) and Mohamed Rami (3) - were asleep in the house at the time. Ms Saulite was buried in her native Riga in December last year.
