Two men appeared before a special sitting of Bantry District Court in Co Cork yesterday in connection with an armed raid on a bank last week.
Mr Robert Kennedy (20) and Mr Raymond Keane (19) of Callan and Kilmanagh, Co Kilkenny, were charged with the robbery of the AIB Bank in Inishannon, Co Cork, on August 6th.
Judge Terence Finn remanded the men in custody with consent to bail on an independent surety of €15,000 each to appear before Clonakilty District Court on Friday.
