Two men who were arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of a man in Cork city last year were remanded in custody for a week when they appeared before Cork District Court.
Mr James Hourigan (30), of Knocknaheeny, Cork, and Mr Keith O'Donovan (28), of Gurranabraher, Cork, were charged with the murder of Noel McCarthy at Spriggs Road in the city on May 4th last year.
Meanwhile, gardai investigating the death on Monday of Mr Adrian Moynihan (23) said yesterday that their inquiries were continuing.
