The 23-year-old man who died when his motorbike struck a temporary bollard at Davitt Road in Crumlin shortly before 10 p.m. last night was today named as Anthony Long, Camac Park, Bluebell, Dublin 12.

The 74-year-old woman who was killed when she was knocked down crossing the road outside Huntstown Church in Mulhuddart just after 9 p.m. was today named as Shelia McCarthy of Pinebrook View, Hartstown.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone who was on the Huntstown Road around 9 p.m., particularly those waiting at the 39 bus stop are asked to contact Blanchardstown Station on 01 6667000.
