Two questioned over Dublin drugs seizures

Two men have been arrested following the seizure of drugs worth €270,000 in north Dublin.

Two men have been arrested following the seizure of drugs worth €270,000 in north Dublin.

Gardaí searched a number of houses in the Finglas area yesterday afternoon.

Some 25,000 ecstasy tablets, valued at around €250,000 by gardaí, and three kilos of herbal cannabis, worth €20,000, were seized.

The men, aged 22 and 47, are being questioned under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act at Finglas and Cabra Garda Stations. They can be held for up to seven days.
