Two members of a traveller family were stabbed during a fight at a halting site on Borrisokane Road, Nenagh, Co Tipperary yesterday.
One man was stabbed in the groin and chest and suffered a collapsed lung. He was last night recovering in Nenagh General Hospital and was said to be "comfortable".
His father was stabbed in the shoulder. Gardai think they were attacked by a traveller from another family when they arrived at the halting site and are seeking a man in his 20s in relation to the incident.
