Gardaí have appealed to the public for help in the investigation into serious assaults on two women in north Dublin last month.
One woman was seriously assaulted in the Malahide area on April 21st and the other woman in the Portmarnock area on April 24th.
Gardaí say they are seeking a man who spent some time living rough in the Malahide/Portmarnock areas during March and April of this year to help them with their enquiries.
The man is described as being 5'9" tall of slight build, with long brown hair and a long dark beard with a reddish tint. When last seen he was wearing dark clothes and a black baseball type hat.
He may have been originally from the midlands but is believed to have spent a number of years in England and speaks with an English accent. He is normally accompanied by a small black mongrel type dog.
Gardaí believe he has since moved away from the area and anyone with information is asked to contact them at Malahide Station on Tel 01 6664600.
