A Co Tyrone man is to stand trial next month on 24 child sex-abuse charges. The 55year-old man from the Dungannon, Co Tyrone area, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces charges of attempted rape, attempted buggery, indecent assault and gross indecency. The alleged offences, involving three girls, took place between 1969 and 1990.
The accused was returned in custody for trial at Omagh Crown Court opening on June 29th when he appeared at Cookstown Court yesterday.
