British police arrested a man in Cambridge today in connection with a series of letter bomb attacks in the past few months.

Police made the arrest between 3am and 4am and said the man was in his 20s. Forensic teams are searching an address in Cambridge.

Six people were hurt in Swansea, south Wales, on February 7th by the seventh letter bomb in a three-week campaign. At least three targets were linked to the enforcement of traffic rules, leading to media speculation that a disgruntled motorist was to blame.

Police have said they believe the bombs - packed into padded envelopes - were intended to shock, not kill, and no one has been seriously injured.
