BRITAIN:Britain is set to ease restrictions on livestock movements as preliminary tests found a Surrey theme park and a Kent farm clear of foot-and-mouth disease. Seán Mac Connell, Agriculture Correspondent, reports.
The UK authorities believe that the risk of the disease spreading outside the infected area in Surrey is "very low", but despite that the Department of Agriculture and Food in Dublin said that the precautions it put in place will remain in force until the EU gives the all-clear.
