Thailand 1 Man Utd 2

Manchester United rounded off their tour of the Far East today with a third win, largely inspired by the contribution of Dwight Yorke

Yorke scored United's winner fifteen minutes from the end to cap off what has been a very successful tour for not only the Premiership champions, but for the striker himself.

It was Yorke's third goal of the tour, and as a result he finished joint top-scorer for the three-match trip.

United had started slowly, and it wasn't until the 29th minute that they took the lead through Ryan Giggs.

The Reds' lead didn't last long, however, with Sripan equalising for the Thai XI four minutes later, after some scrappy United defending.

Alex Ferguson rang the changes at half time, making six substitutions, and the switches inspired United to turn in a far more impressive showing in the second half.

The Thai goal came under constant attack, with Keane, Butt and Yorke all going close, before the Trinidadian sharp-shooter nabbed the winner.
