AA Roadwatch has advised those not travelling to the Oxegen Festival in Punchestown today to avoid the two main routes to the festival, the main Naas Road, the N7 and the N81 via Blessington.

At the moment, traffic is heavy but moving southbound on the N7 at Kill and Johnstown while Naas traffic is very slow on the back road from Naas to Punchestown.
As the concert is sold out, a special 'ticket check' is in operation on all approach routes.
