London - US actress Brooke Shields accepted "very substantial" but undisclosed libel damages at London's High Court yesterday over newspaper allegations that she was subjected to an airport drugs swoop.
The Mail on Sunday newspaper apologised in court for a May 24th article under the headline "The Queen of Clean at centre of airport drugs mystery."
Lawyers for the actress told the court that the article alleged that the actress was questioned and had her luggage searched for drugs at Nice airport on her return from the Cannes film festival.
