US data storage company Pillar Data Systems is to create 200 jobs in an IDA-supported project in Co Louth over the next five years.

Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Micheál Martin announced today that the company would establish its European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Headquarters in Drogheda.

The office will have sole management responsibility for sales and marketing, technical support, finance, operations, IT management and business analysis in the EMEA region.

It will be initially based at the International Sales and Marketing Centre in the town.
