New York - The US was warned of a possible terrorist attack on its embassy in Kenya nine months before a massive car bomb destroyed the building in Nairobi, the New York Times reported yesterday. Citing unnamed Kenyan and US sources, the paper said Washington was told that a group of Islamic extremists was plotting the attack based on a tip from an Egyptian who is now a suspect in the August 7th blasts at the US embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam.
