The director of a Northern Ireland victims' group claims to have been threatened by the Ulster Volunteer Force.

Mark Thompson, of Relatives for Justice, pointed the finger at the UVF after being warned of the risk by police in west Belfast on Saturday.

He linked the threats to his work with families from across the community.

He has lobbied for action on alleged security force collusion with loyalists and represented a string of loyalist murder victims.
