A candlelight vigil will be held tonight in memory of the 48 victims of the Stardust disaster.
The names of the young people killed in the 1981 nightclub blaze will be called out during the short service at its site in Artane, north Dublin.
Grieving family members will join survivors of the blaze, which broke out during a Valentine’s disco, for prayers and song.
Last year the Stardust Victims Committee won a 28th year battle to have an independent examination of evidence relating to the cause of the inferno.
It rejected the finding of a 1991 inquiry that the fire was probably a result of arson.
Members of the public are also invited to an anniversary mass at St Joseph’s Church, Greencastle Road, Coolock at 12,30 on Sunday, which will be followed by a procession to the Stardust Memorial Park.
