The Wall Street Journal Europetoday announced that it will begin printing in Ireland from February 1st as part of its expansion into European markets.
The Journal Europewill print at the Midland Tribune site near Birr, Co Offaly, which prints several national, regional and international titles.
"We're confident that readers in the Republic of Ireland will welcome our unsurpassed coverage of global business news, along with our ability to provide original and insightful content for an internationally minded European business audience," said Jon Housman, managing director, the Wall Street Journal Europe.
The newspaper will be distributed throughout the country by Eason Wholesale News.
The arrival of the Journal Europe'sprinting operations to the Republic will be supported by a marketing campaign throughout the region.
The Irish print site will bring the number of European printing sites to nine, including Rome, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid and Zurich.
