Dungannon’s Patrick Wallace, ranked world number 59, is only two frames away from a dream clash with fellow Irishman Joe Swail at the World Championships in Sheffield.
At the end of the afternoon's play, Wallace, who won three matches just to clinch a place at the Crucible, took the last frame of the session to lead 11-5 in the best-of-25 match against England’s Mark King.
King had earlier hit back to be just one frame behind Wallace, but the Ulsterman regained his two-frame cushion at 7-5 with a fine clearance of 125
