Two men from the Isle of Man appeared in Dublin District Court yesterday charged with possession of forged £20 notes in a city hotel last weekend. They were Mr Graham Worthington (43) and Mr Stephen Lackey (34), both of Douglas.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Mr George Storeman (35), also from Douglas, when he failed to appear.
All three are charged with possession of £400 worth of forged £20 sterling notes in the Gresham Hotel, O'Connell Street, on January 13th. Garda Michael Nagle sought an adjournment to have the notes forensically analysed.
Judge Desmond Hogan remanded them on continuing bail of £1,000 each until March 1st.
