HOUSEHOLDS LEFT without bin collections during the severe weather in the run-up to Christmas will have services restored this week, waste collectors have said.

Residents on the north side of Dublin city will have their black bins collected this week, while residents on the south side will have a brown – organic waste – bin collection. Black bins will be collected on the south side and brown bins on the north side next week.

Dublin City Council says it will remove up to two additional plastic bags of general domestic waste on the black bin date. Customers whose green bin is full can leave extra dry recyclable material alongside the bin on their scheduled collection day until January 17th.

Panda Waste says it will also collect extra bags of waste left with bins at the next scheduled collection date.
