Dublin City Council will carry out water-pipe maintenance in the Merrion and Sandymount areas from next Monday, August 13th.
The works, which will take up to five months to complete, are part of the €118 million Dublin Regional Watermains Rehabilitation project. Approximately 280 kilometres of old cast iron pipes will be replaced.
The works will affect water supply in the Merrion and Sandymount areas at certain times.
Motorists are advised that there will be local traffic restrictions in place on the Merrion Road from next Monday until September.
