Two men have been arrested today after firearms and ammunition were found during police searches in south Belfast.
They were arrested after five handguns and a quantity of bullets were discovered in a house at Kilburn Street in the loyalist Donegall Road area.
A police spokeswoman said it was too early to say whether the find was linked to loyalist paramilitaries.
The men will be questioned later today by detectives.
